When Cliff and Tanya began planning their big day, one thing was a no-brainer.....It had to be by the water! Cliff is a member of the Mandurah Water Rescue so if your ever clinging to the upturned hull of your tinny he's a guy you definitely want to meet.
Cliff and Tanya found love again after years of raising children as singles. They knew from the very first date that they had found their soul mate and best friend. It was natural then, that their children would have to be a huge part of their day. Cliff's two boys were there to keep Dad chilled at the Sebel Hotel in Mandurah.
Across town in Wellard, Tanya was at her Mum's place preping for her wedding day with her two boys, beautiful daughter Ebony Rose and long time friends.
Stingray Point in Mandurah provided the ideal location to exchange wedding vows in the presence of family and friends. Tanya's boys had the honour of walking Mum down the isle to an anxious groom, Cliff. They then took their position beside him to support the marriage of two beautiful people.
In a simple ceremony our happy couple declared their love and after a 'warming of the rings' by their children, they became Husband and Wife. As if to give their blessing a pair of local dolphins dropped by.
From Stingray Point the whole bridal party boarded a luxury house boat and travelled leisurely down the Mandurah Estuary towards the Creery Wetlands for some formal portraits. It was a beautiful moment to relax, have a drink and soak in the joy of the day.
We then headed off to the Mandurah Quays Resort and Reception Centre to celebrate and as the sun went down, catch a moment on 'One Tree Hill'. Being a talented young artist, Ebony Rose painted a keepsake depicting the setting and it seemed only fitting to merge the two and remember that life can be part real, part fairytale!
