October is such a great month for weddings. The weather is usually kind and the heat hasn't set in yet. With so many people choosing to have a beautiful spring wedding it can be hard to get a wedding venue. Braedyn and Dani choose a Friday to exchange vows, a trend that's becoming very popular! And why not! Great excuse to begin the weekend early!
Braedyn was waiting with his best friends for the moment the bride walks down the aisle on the arm of her nervous father. They exchanged wedding vows after a moving talk given by a close family friend. Once the ceremony ended we all headed to Dukes Inn, Northam for some much needed refreshment and a chance to catch our breath. Dukes Inn is a beautiful heritage building in the heart of Northam that has been beautifully restored and decorated with awesome funky furniture that still blends beautifully with its old world charm. We had to take advantage of the wedding photo opportunity that presented itself for some unique photos that were very different from anything we had done before.
Since the reception was being held at Mulberry On Swan in the Swan Valley we headed there for a few more photos. The rustic charm of the windmill, grapevines and the old Dodge truck provided an amazing backdrop for these unique out door photos. With the sun dropping rapidly we took advantage of golden hour and back lit the bride and groom for on last portrait.
The reception was full of emotion, fun and quite a lot of traditional Greek dancing! LOL
Congratulations to Braedyn and Dani on a fantastic day and thankyou for allowing me to capture it for you!
